War of 1812 Siege of Old Fort Madison
Weekend Following Labor Day
Tri-State Rodeo Weekend in September
Come learn from Old Fort Madison's interpreters as they recreate the 2nd siege of Old Fort Madison. Part of the largest coordinated Native American offensive in U.S. History. Tecumsah attacked Fort Madison, Fort Harrison and Fort Wayne all within a few hours of each other. Fort Madison survived the siege because the Native Americans ran out of ammunition. Offered every year during The Tri-State Rodeo, this event teaches us about our country's past. For this year's dates and times, check the Fort Madison Community Events Calendar or call 1-800-210-TOUR (option 6) for more information.
