Who can get a library card?
Residents of Fort Madison and rural Lee County, or patrons of a library that participates in Iowa's Open Access program, can obtain a library card free of charge. Anyone else may purchase a nonresident library card for an annual fee of $25. Cards can be given to anyone over 4 years old. Applicants under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian register for a card for them.
