About Us

The distribution division is responsible for maintaining approximately 100 miles of water mains ranging in size from 2 to 20 inches, 550 fire hydrants, and 4,500 service lines. This division is also responsible for the installation, removal, testing, and repair of approximately 4,600 water meters. The distribution division's goals are to provide a water distribution system that has a minimal amount of unaccounted for water, meet all public fire protection needs, and accurately and systematically read all water meters so that the cost of water services may be equitably distributed among all water customers.
