The City of Fort Madison owns and operates two public boat launches and a harbor.

Riverview Marina is located at 318 Riverview Drive and offers two launch ramps, transient docking, 30 amp electric, self serve gas, diesel fuel available with 24 hours notice, pumpout, shower facility and restrooms. The marina is also home to a 100 slip public boat harbor. On shore, Captain Kirk�s Marina offers boating necessities and a bar and grill. Call the Fort Madison Parks and Recreation Department at 372-7700 ext. 206 for slip rental information. Captain Kirk�s Marina can be reached by calling 372-6477.

Overnight docking fees are $15 per night for boats over 25 feet long and $10 per night for boats under 25 feet long. If a boat needs electricity, an additional $5 per night is charged.

The cost to rent a slip is based on the square footage of the slip - $1.45 a square foot is charged for persons living in Lee County and $1.70 is charged to those persons residing outside of Lee County. Persons interested in a renting a boat slip need to contact the City of Fort Madison at 319-372-7700, extension 206.

Willow Patch Boat Launch Access is located at 1st Street and Avenue G and offers four launch ramps on the Mississippi River south of the Iowa State Penitentiary.
