2017 Children's Summer Reading Program

Beginning May 30th you can sign-up for the library's summer reading program.  
Information for the adult program is on the other side of this sheet.  Kids and teens  will receive a reading record and a sheet of stickers.  The first 100 children to sign up will also receive “The Builder’s Beacon” newspaper.  Mark off or place a sticker on one spot on your reading record for each five minutes you read.  Once your reading record is full, bring it into the library for a prize

2017 TeenSummer Reading Program
for ages 13*-18


Beginning May 30, you can sign-up for the library's summer reading program.  Once you sign-up, you will receive a reading record and a sheet of stickers.  For each 5 minutes you read, mark off or place a sticker on one spot on your reading record.  Once your reading record is full, bring it into the library for a prize.  All teens who complete at least one reading record will receive a pass for themselves and a friend to attend the library's end of summer pool party July23 from 6:00-8:00.


Weekly activities will be on Tuesday's at 3:00pm beginning June 13.  A complete list of activities can be found here.

2017 Adult Summer Reading Program

Beginning May 30, you can sign-up for the library's summer reading program.  Once you sign-up, you will receive a reading punch card.  For each book you read, get one spot on the card punched off.  Once you read 10 books, turn the card in for a prize.  Prizes this year include Coloring journal, Starbucks coffee, Mini solar flower or Flashlight/screwdriver key chain.  You may complete more than one punch card.  Each punch card turned in will be an entry into the end of summer grand prize drawing for a library basket or notebook and is a chance to guess how many screws and nails are in the jar to win a gift certificate to Kempker's True Value.

This year we are adding program activities for adults.
