Adopt A Garden

The Adopt A Garden program was created in order to provide proper care and maintenance for the many flowerbeds located throughout the Fort Madison Parks system.

Who can adopt a flowerbed? Individuals, groups or organizations who are willing to get their hands dirty and help maintain the numerous flowerbeds in the Fort Madison Parks system. What is expected of me after I adopt a flowerbed? You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of your flowerbed. You will be reimbursed for your expenses associated with your flowerbed. This will be your flowerbed as long as you are willing to provide the attention that it needs. How do I go about adopting a flowerbed? Contact John Luna at 372-8917 ext. 274 and he will explain all the details associated with the Adopt A Garden program and inform you of the flowerbeds still needing to be adopted.
