The City of Fort Madison will begin selling 2018 Pet
Licenses on Monday, October 2, 2017. They can be purchased at City Hall, 811 Avenue E
or PAWS Animal Shelter. Rabies Certificate and proof of spay or neuter (if
applicable) is required. The cost is $5.00 if spayed or neutered and $10.00 if
unaltered. A pet license must be obtained for any cat, dog or pot-bellied pig
in the City limits. Failure to do so could result in a fine and/or court fees.
