Per Governor Reynolds' order, playgrounds and skate parks are still closed.
Due to the Governor's prohibition on gatherings of more than 10 people, the Parks Department has postponed all shelter rentals until Tuesday, May 27.
Public restrooms within City parks and all drinking fountains will remain out of service at this time.
All persons with utility/water/sewer/garbage bills are encouraged by the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities to continue paying toward these bills to avoid accumulating high debt and potentially facing service disconnection following the end of the disconnection moratorium on May 27, 2020.
The City’s focus remains the continuity of critical operations: police and fire departments, providing clean water, sewer services and trash and recycling collection. If there are any changes in operating schedules, cancellations, or other alterations to City operations and facilities, this will be communicated as circumstances evolve.
