[ARCHIVED] Recycling Pick Up and Christmas Tree Pick Up

On Wednesday, January 16, Route “A” will have Recycling Pick Up. Recycling must be set out by 6:00 am. Please call 372-7700 x 201 to request your 2013 Recycling & Yard Waste collection schedule.

Route “B” will have Christmas Tree Pick Up. Discarded trees must be placed where yard waste normally is collected, in most cases in the alley near garbage collection sites. Trees will NOT be collected curb side. The City will not pick up trees for the following reasons: flocked trees, tree stands, wire, anchors and plastic or metal of any kind used to support the tree must be removed, lights, ornaments, ornament hangers, tinsel or non-biodegradable garland must be removed and all other material expect biodegradable garland must be removed. Disposal of trees that are not put out for pick up in time for collection or are uncollectible for whatever reason will be considered the responsibility of the purchaser of the tree and not the City.
