This 5k event will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Rodeo Park and will kick off the 2014 Relay For Life season. Relay For Life is a community event designed to celebrate and remember those who have been touched by cancer and fight back by walking and or running to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
Cost: $15 for pre-registered participants postmarked by April 15, 2014. All entries received after deadline will be $20. A family fee is available to immediate family members living together. All entries must be mailed together and completely filled out. Maximum of 3 t-shirts per family rate. Family fee is $40 for pre-registered participants. Cancer survivor rate is $10.00 per person.
Registration will be held at the Coffey’s Corner Shelter House from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm the day of the event. Packets will be available to pick up at that time. If you would like to pick your packet up early, watch the North Lee County Relay For Life Facebook page for updates on when packets are available.
All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt. Those registering after April 15, 2014 are not guaranteed a shirt.
The Kids Fun Run will begin promptly at 6:15 pm and the 5k will begin at 6:30 pm.
Please respect others on the course. If you are pushing a stroller or walking a dog you are expected to move over for runners. No skateboards, heelies, or scooters allowed on the course.
