Attention all, Officers have responded to a residential burglary in the area of Oak Drive. While investigating, officers learned of a white male subject 5'7" to 6' wearing a green jacket, dark stocking cap and seeing glasses. This man is approaching homes claiming that he is looking for a sex offender. The subject is holding a picture of whom he says he is looking for. The subject actually entered a corridor of one residence before being met by the homeowner. We believe this guy is casing neighborhoods looking for unlocked doors using his sex offender narrative as a cover story. Please call FMPD right away if this guy is seen in your neighborhood.
